This show needs to be cancelled. Sorry.
I really think that the viewers need to make their opinions known at CNN! Let them receive thousands of complaints by phone and fax!!
Blacks are sick and tired of seeing “buffoons” on television!
We are tired of white networks putting black minstrels on the air when too few black intellectuals are being featured who will elevate the national dialogue! Let us make that known!

As a educated black woman, I was insulted by this man.
I cant believe a network such as cnn would actually air a show like this. I was looking forward to a mix of humor and inteligence. I cant believe this is the most qualified african american person availiable at a time that is so important for us to keep our image in tact.
” get rid of him !!! “
It bothered me all night after seeing the so called humor and political outtakes of D.L Hughley. I truly felt he must have been hired by someone who is desperate to take a last diminishing hook shot at Obama. This show appeals to the fears of America rather than the strengths and common elements of a Unified America.
Please CNN… recognize that this show’s platform is not in America’s best interest, nor is in yours. It takes away from the credibility of the insightful news and commentaries we have so enjoyed through the years from CNN.
Hughley please remember… this is not about being Black in America, nor is about being White in America, Asian, Latino or anything else. As Dr. King mentioned, we are all One people under God attempting to set the world on fire with Love and enlightenment. This is our time to do it and we must not fail in this moment.
Hughley, as a person of consciousness, please don’t fall for the money… in the end its the decisions of the Soul under the most tempting of circumstances that last and matters the most. This is your time, this is our time, this is America’s time to fall forward not backwards.
I was so ashamed while i watched D.L. ‘s show. It was very degrading and not a all intelligent or funny. There is nothing funny about portraying black people the way he did. He also had the nerve to not feel apologetic when on tom joyner thurs. I think the show has got to go. Black man or not. I tried to blog on cnn about it 15 min into the show on sat but could find a blog.
Hello All
I agree with erka snow, I was just trying to find a place where I could blog on cnn to complain about the show but did not see where comments were allowed. Instead I ‘m sending an e-mail to the producer. Nov 1st show was the WORST ever, I will not watch next week’s show, I’m so mad.
his second show last night was just as bad as the first one. he actually thinks that making fun of Obama is not degrading.
I watched some of the second DL show hoping he would redeem himself, however, being the black slapstick is his name to fame. I don’t think there is nothing that he will not do. I heard his comments on Larry King and no person is offlimits in comedy including obama, but to feed into all the sterotypes of african americans at such a time as this is total irresponsible. Then to have rev. sharpton come on as if he speaks for all african american to say the shows ok and leave him on because he’s black or I’ll get the black community on you is rediculous. Everyone needs to write in but I don’t think he’ll be on long because I think he was put there to hurt obama’s chances. I will never watch or support anything this slapstick suppose to be for african americans do.
