About Ying Yang Twins

Named after the Chinese symbol for light and dark (Yin and Yang), the Atlanta duo Ying Yang Twins (Kaine and D-Roc) established themselves as urban music’s most dominant twosome. Ying Yang Twins have a long history of chart topping hits: from their collaboration with Lil Jon & The East Side Boyz on “Get Low” to their Grammy nominated “Wait (the Whisper Song)”, the group has been a fixture on the Billboard charts, video channels, radio airwaves, clubs and fans computers since the beginning of their career. Their platinum selling albums “U.S.A. (United State of Atlanta) and “Me & My Brother” helped define the sexy, fun, Southern club sound that came to dominate hip-hop. Their look, feel and sound is unique to this singular duo who have toured the globe spreading their innovated Dirty South flava to fans on every continent.

In 2008, Ying Yang Twins teamed up with the producer Isaac “Ike Dirty” Hayes III the son of R&B legend Isaac Hayes, and released their explosive new single “Drop”. The sleek electro beats and Kaine & D-Roc’s signature provocative rhymes display the innovation and grittiness the group is known for. The track is already an online phenomenon with more than 15 Million streams on the group’s Myspace page and Top 25 on iTunes Hip Hop chart.

The Ying Yang Twins are preparing for the release of their 6th album tentatively entitled “ATL Holes”.
