Green Label Sound Launches Mini College Tour
PURCHASE, NY – Green Label Sound, a singles only music label designed to support emerging artists from a diverse array of genres, announced today that it will be kicking off a three date college tour with Green Label Sound recording artists Matt and Kim and hip-hop duo The Cool Kids. Both acts released exclusive singles on the label this year and the music is available for free download at GreenLabelSound.com. All shows are $5 and open to the public. The Green Label Sound tour will offer participating musicians the chance to introduce their music to new fans across the country.
Spearheaded by Mountain Dew, Green Label Sound is a unique music program designed to help on-the-verge artists reach new heights. The partnership covers A to Z label and marketing support for all of the participating artists. Several more exclusive tracks are expected to come from Green Label Sound in the coming months.
“Green Label Sound has been an amazing partner to work with so far,” said Matt Johnson of Matt and Kim. “First we were able to give our fans free music, and now we are traveling the country to play cheap shows. What else can you get for $5 these days?”
“The Green Label Sound college tour is another great example of our commitment to fostering emerging artists,” says Frank Cooper, VP of portfolio brands, Pepsi-Cola North America. “We hope that by helping them with shows like this, they will be able to reach new fans around the country.”
