2009 Grammy Awards Quick Recap

February 8, 2009

grammyDid you watch the 51st Grammy Awards show?

Here are my top three performances of the night:

Jennifer Hudson singing You Pulled Me Through had to be one of the most touching performances of the night. I thought I was going to cry right along with her there at the end.  Jennifer also won her first Grammy – Best R & B Album of the Year.
Kanye West/Jay Z/Lil Wayne & T I performed Swagga Like Us.  They were all dressed nice…the performance was good–they had swagga in their performance.  grammy1 Lil’ Wayne who was nominated for 8 Grammys walked away with 4.
Seeing the Jonas Brothers and Stevie Wonder on stage together was priceless. grammy2
I missed the opening of the show because I was on the road, so I’ll have to catch that on video.
grammy3 For all you Whitney fans, I saw this link on Perez Hilton’s site about her performance at a Pre-Grammy party. Check it out: CLICK HERE. Welcome back Whitney. I am one who can’t wait to hear her next CD.
